On February 28 - March 1, T8 took part in the international scientific-technical and scientific-methodological conference "Actual problems of infotelecommunications in science and education" in St. Petersburg. The program of the event included a plenary session, an exhibition and the work of seven scientific areas.
On January 25, the Lomonosov flagship cluster was officially opened for the first project participants. In the scientific laboratory located in the cluster, T8 STC specialists, together with scientists, postgraduates and students of Moscow State University, will research and develop compact DWDM systems for data centers using artificial intelligence elements. This will optimize the parameters of equipment and optical communication lines.
The presentation of the Russian pavilion was attended by Deputy Minister of Digital Development of Russia Maxim Parshin. The Trade Representation of Russia organized a working meeting for domestic IT companies with the Minister of Communications and Information Technologies of Egypt, Amr Talaat. The parties discussed the cooperation in the field of digital technologies.
On December 15, students graduated from the basic department T8 "High-Speed Backbone Transport DWDM Systems" (HTS DWDM), established in 2021 in Bonch-Bruevich St. Petersburg State University of Telecommunications (SPbSUT).
