T8, the Russian company, a developer and manufacturer of wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) telecommunications equipment and solutions for optical communication networks, took part in the III Russian Telecommunications Summit, which was held on February 29 in Moscow.
At the session “Domestic solutions and technologies for telecom,” T8 system analyst Andrey Ulyanov drew the participants’ attention to a trend - for telecom operators, along with the speed, range and reliability of data transmission, the possibility of centralized management of complex and extensive DWDM networks is coming to the fore.
“NMS Titan is a Russian carrier-grade network management system developed in accordance with international standards. The main advantage of our hardware and software complex is the availability of automation when building connections both at the optical level based on T8’s own Flex ROADM, and at the digital level. NMS Titan connection management mechanisms make it possible to reduce the time for commissioning and equipment operation by several times,” noted Andrey Ulyanov.
The III Russian Telecommunications Summit is a specialized platform for experts in the telecommunications industry, the business agenda of which is based on current trends in the development of the industry in the Russian and international markets. The event was attended by representatives of telecommunications and industrial companies, scientific and design institutes, government agencies - more than 200 participants in total.
