At the TIBO-2024 forum, T8 company, a Russian developer and manufacturer of Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) telecommunications equipment, unveiled its cutting-edge solutions. Konstantin Shulgan, Minister of Digital Development, and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus visited the company's booth, along with representatives from telecommunications operators across the CIS countries.

On May 17, thirty students from the Faculty of Infocommunication Networks and Systems received certificates for successfully completing the program "Principles of Construction, Components, Design, and Building of Fiber-Optic Systems and Networks with DWDM Technology" at the base department "High-Speed Backbone Transport DWDM Systems" (HSBT DWDM) of T8.

T8 has successfully established high-speed transit communication channels with a total length of 16,700 kilometers using DWDM equipment and the Titan NMS software for one of the largest telecommunications operators, TransTeleCom. These optical networks now link Saint Petersburg and Ulan-Ude. This project has significantly enhanced TransTeleCom’s capabilities to offer high-speed transit services across Russia, contributing to the telecommunications infrastructure of the international transport corridor "East-West."
