T8 presented a new development at the exhibition ‘Moscow Industrial. City of the Future’

In the radio- and microelectronics sector, residents and visitors of the capital can learn about the company's new development for data centers which is the DCI V2 telecommunications DWDM equipment. This solution is installed in data centers and connects them with high-speed communication channels via fiber-optic infrastructure.

The high-speed communication channels between data centers provide instant access to online services, applications, and platforms. These can include social networks, streaming services, online stores, banking applications, online games, and much more. The implementation of advanced technologies makes the digital world more convenient, reliable, and secure, improving the quality of life in the modern metropolis.

"DWDM equipment is used as the basis for all optical communication lines. High-speed fiber-optic communication lines connect cities, forming the foundation of the entire digital economy of Moscow and the country as a whole. Science and technological development in Russia make our country independent and allow people to be closer to each other," noted Vladimir Treshchikov, CEO of T8.

Technical specifications of T8's new platform for data centers:

— Bandwidth up to 6.4 Tb/s in a compact 2U high chassis (88 mm)
— Modular architecture (8 interchangeable slot devices, each 2.5U wide) or 4 interchangeable slot devices, each 5U wide
— Integration of line cards and OLS (optical amplifiers, multiplexers, and other optical units) in one chassis

The exhibition 'Moscow Industrial. City of the Future' is part of the forum-festival 'Territory of the Future. Moscow 2030' and runs until September 8, 2024, at the Expocentre Fairgrounds (Krasnopresnenskaya Embankment, Building 14), Pavilion No. 1."
