The product line of T8 is expanded by a new single-channel 100G transponder of carrier-class TP-100.

Transponder is built on a platform «Volga» has developed by T8, on which were set several World records such as: 100G signal transmission at 501,3 km in single-hop line and 100G signal transmission at 4000 km without dispersion compensators.

TP-100 produces 3R-regeneration into 100G Gigabit Ethеrnet OTN client optical signal and back. The tests were performed in the company’s laboratory at the line length of 1600 km and their results are confirmed the transponder is fully ready for use in the communication networks.

Scheme

The data are transferred in a line of OTN OTU4 format using error correction algorithms Soft-FEC/Super-FEC G.975 I.7. Data transmission is implemented at a stabilized wavelength in accordance to DWDM frequency grid. Wavelength tunable laser allows organizing a transmission at 88 DWDM-channels, 50GHz. The tests have demonstrated an excellent value OSNRt = 12,5 dB, it’s higher than values of similar equipments from other manufacturers.

The equipment meets all international standards and it can be used on already constructed network infrastructure. Transponder will be interesting not only for operators but also for communication channels in data centers».

The transponder supports 100GBASE-LR4 and 100GBASE-LR10 standards and fully 802.5 IEEE what allows using CFP module with equipments from other manufacturers and to build scalable converged networks.
